BART schedule & Maps for getting to and from Fuddruckers & SF Playhouse Theater on Sunday 1/7/18
1. The walking route from Walnut Creek BART to Fuddruckers and back. It'd be best if we all parked in the BART parking lots on the Bus Terminal side of the station (to the right side of the station as you drive in on the Ygnacio Valley Rd side of it). Much better, too, because then we can all buy our train tickets (or check our Clipper Card balances) at the train ticket machines near the Police Sub-Station/Booth at the station before heading to Fuddruckers. If we wait until train-boarding-time to buy our train tix or make sure we have enough on our Clipper Cards it may take up some valuable time, causing us to possibly miss our train!
(I'm not saying you can't go to Fuddruckers and park there and then drive from there to the station if you want. But if you do that, tho, please make sure you've gotten your train ticket ahead of going to Fuddruckers.)
Here's some "landmarks" for along the walk. The Bus Terminal "awning" - which runs directly towards the Target store [around the corner from which (on the N. Main Street side) is Fuddruckers].
Where you reach the gazebo, at the end of the Bus Terminal (and walk down some stairs just beyond the gazebo to get to street level). . .
Most importantly! The BART train-ticket machines, not far from the Police Sub-station. You can spot them because they're in the station and are bright orange and not far from the end of the Bus Terminal 'awning' that's nearest to the station.
2. The BART timetable for this trip. Every attempt by all of us should be made to meet at the "Police Booth" not far from the orange train-ticket machines under the tracks in the Walnut Creek station after Fuddruckers so we can all get on the 12:15pm train TOGETHER. If anyone who is at Fuddruckers is not also at Walnut Creek BART Police Booth (with train-ticket-in-hand) in time for us to go up to the train platform (by noon) to catch the 12:15, we will wait there at the Police Booth until 12:20, until we ARE all there to go up to the platform at 12:20 to catch the 12:35. If you miss the 12:35 . . . .
(be it for whatever reason, [like even if it's because you haven't yet bought your train ticket. . . Egadddzzz!])
. . . . then the rest of the group will have to leave from there without you and you will have to make it to the theater lobby on your _own_ in time to meet BobF there and get your ticket there before "Curtain UP" or, unfortunately, you may miss out on the entire show! So PLEASE stay with our group and be punctual! [Because I have no idea how you'd make it to the theater in time if you miss even the 12:35 train!]
See you at FUDDRUCKERS! Adios for now! . . .Bob F

3. The walking route from Powell Street BART to San Francisco Playhouse Theater, which is IN the Kensington Park Hotel at 450 Post Street. Anyone who wants to go by UBER or Taxi, instead of walk the 4 blocks may do so. But please get the to theater (at Kensington Park Hotel, 450 Post St.) to meet the rest of us there in the lobby of the theater to get your theater ticket from BobF in time for Curtain Up.
See you at FUDDRUCKERS! Adios for now! . . .Bob F
